The drive north of San Diego is full of
breath-taking views. Look for water, then stop and sip your coffee

Just 10 minutes north of downtown, you
can watch the sunset here while riding the beachside roller coaster.

This place is famous for its beautiful golf course. But if
you like paragliding, hang-gliding, or just plain kite flying, try the
nearby launching pad.

La Jolla
The coasts of La Jolla have some interesting caves and rock
formations. One spectacular place is Seal Rock, a cove where sea lions rest.

Above the cove is an amazing view of a small beach area
where the seals gather.
You can get as close as 10 feet away from the seals and
they don't mind your presence at all. |
