Kristee's friend, Yee, joined us in our 45
minutes drive from Ste. Adele to Tremblant, a resort village at the base
of world famous Mont Tremblant.
This place is filled with hotels, shops,
restaurants, rides, game-places, and other tourist attractions,
designed, painted, and arranged as if they were modeled from wooden toy
buildings.
Coming towards Tremblant,
the first time you see the village is from across a lake that overlooks
the mountain.
You may move across the
town by riding (for free) these stand-up lifts.
The view on the lifts is
fabulous as you ride over the rooftops.
This clock tower greets
you at the village entrance.
Inside the village itself,
you can shop, eat, and goof off to your heart's content
You may also take a ski
lift to the top of the mountain. This is the view as you ascend.
This the view when you get
to the top (can you see the village on the lower left side of the lake?)
The top of the mountain has several restaurants and activities, too.
